MK2 white on white

Instead of saving money and buying important things for school I bought a MK2 Jetta instead. I'll be going to Michigan Tech up in the UP in a few months so the plan was to lift the Jetta using my buddies old VR Passat wagon suspension. I was super excited to have pretty much the only lifted MK2 Jetta around, and thought maybe I could do a little off-roading. So I got the suspension put it and it looked awesome, the rears anyway. I pulled apart the stock front struts to use the upper mounts, but come to find out they wouldn't fit the hefty VR6 springs which was a bit of a bummer, so I just used the stock springs with the newer VR shock. So I was finally done putting it all together and just in time for Eurohanger:









If you were on the cruise from Kzoo you could probably tell that the car was a little bouncy. Actually a lot bouncy.. and it was. It was very uncomfortable to ride in, and just wasn't going to work. Luckily, since I had already destroyed the stock suspension, I had the cup kit from my Corrado sitting in the basement, so now the car is lowered instead of lifted. The gap was about 8 inches from lifted to lowered.





I've been preparing for paint the last couple of days, and it is being sprayed tomorrow morning, I also sprayed the bumpers and other plastic pieces to make the paint pop.

-Subs
-Roof rack
