So I got this old ass go kart from my uncle for doing some welding work, 3hp Briggs does about 25-30 with no governer. I got a 5.5 built Briggs that runs on alcohol! Should go pretty fast once it's installed. Needs wider tires with some slicks in rear that will come in time.

Definitely a must. Then put those back wheels up front and get some big fat lawn tractor turf tires for the back, i think i have some you can have from my racing mower, which should work perfectly because youll need wheels without bearings to have posi.
