I took a few pics today messing with it while at a family cookout and these are unedited raw images...I love this thing 5 times as much as my last dslr style body point and shoot digital...

Camera is a Canon Rebel EOS T3 with 18-55mm lense..

Yep....was the Eos t3...choose that over the nikon d3100 just because of the auto focus thats built in...spent some time researching both and decided this one for now....gonna invest in some lenses and spend some tim with my buddy to learn some stuff.....im happy already......Hahah

Yeah the best thing you can do is to get out and shoot. Get using what you have and then once you determine what your style is, then you can get an idea of what lenses to look into buying.

I have a variety of lenses in my bag right now and tend to use either my 10-20mm or my 70-200 f/4L.

Rob's lenses tend to work better after landing on escalator's.

Yeah Blake, thanks for that. I think it was just that lens that was acting funny after that, not the camera, everything seemed to be fine on my other lenses I used this weekend.

Pics look great Glen, keep in mind the camera is something, but lenses can make pics. Looks like the kit lens that you got with the cam is awesome for the shots that you are currently doing.
