pics suck, i was cold. very very cold. i think the lens started fogging up. white balance and exposure are wayy off.

Simple way of getting white balance to be correct is to use a sheet of white paper to set your white balance in the light you'll be shooting in. In your case just hold the sheet of paper out in front of the camera and use the custom white balance feature to use the picture of the white paper to set the balance. Since the paper is exposed to the crap colored light, the camera knows to use that as its level for white, which then makes everything else have the correct colors.

Blake and chad get free time....Id be down to drive and meet like jackson area for a lunch and some info.

I'd be willing to drive out to the Kzoo area, its not that far but like I said I'd prefer to spend some time out there. Even if it was spending the afternoon shooting or something and then grabbing food/beer.

I can bring my lenses and let you guys use them. I've got a Sigma 10-20, a nifty fifty and a 70-200 F/4 L, aside from the kit 18-55 IS and a kit lens from my film camera that is a 28-90.

I only have kit lense and a canon 100-300 i got for dirt from a buddy that shoots for alot of places including espn and several BMX guys with Deluxe bmx.

Heres a shoutout for him. With all that and work, hard to get time to chill and learn from him. As well, he was into building cars with me for aloooot of years.
