| As some of you know I have recently picked up a project. Its clean, the front Recaros need recovering, the body is fairly clean. As of now my only plans are to swap the 13" bbs for a bigger 15" set, lower it, and transplant a newer running efi engine. Most of you guys havent seen me lately, I have been busy working on it. I have the motor ready to come out, I have cleaned the entire car out, pulled out the transmission, which is currently apart awaiting a shifter shaft that I will be installing. Oddly enough this car has 264k on it, its clean, the motor has 150psi across the board, but not enough of the pieces are there to salvage it. I will be getting pics up soon, be patient as I am trying to get work done on it | |

| yup, its official. i've caught the bmw bug. now i need to sell everything and get one.
e21's are my 2nd favorite bmw behind e36 m3. these cars are soooo much fun to drive.
i wonder what front lip you have? its not kamei or zender. maybe its a optional factory lip for the is's?

| Blake there is a guy on ebay that does marine vinyl covers for them. Not slip covers, like legit recaro original vinyl hog ring covers. I will rebuild the foam, and put the new covers on and attach them just like the factory. What are your recaros out of? | |

| I wanna get it on the road, then over time if I keep it maybe paint, and real suspension and wheels? There is one out there that is flared to look like an e30 m3, its baller for sure. Also now that I have my tranny in good orderish, I can go for a m10 or m30 engines. The m30's go up to an average of 200hp and is 6 cyl, while the m10 only get about 100hp and are 4cyl. | |

| m10. its easier to work on and cheap. and reliable.
if you wanna go balls deep do a m50 or s14. both will bolt to your trans, and flush your wallet. | |

| M50 is to new to bolt to my trans, and the m30 is a m10 with 2 more cylinders, which means it will be easy to work on, as well cheap to get. its an older engine 5 and 7 series 80's to mid 90's | |

| No its no washed, I leave my outside water spigots off for the winter. Its on jackstands without a tranny and the motor basically out. I have cleaned out some of the extra parts and shit. Also, I have eveything pinned down for what I need for my boat, just gathering parts and time.... | |

| I have little to post in this thread. I am having some problems getting the title squared away. I bought this car under the condition that when I get the title I will finish paying for the car. So I need to get the title so I can start working on it. I have a bill of sale, we can't get ahold of the last guy who registered this car, so now I have to take matters into my own hands so I can get this bitch slammed and running. Any help would be great. It is better if it is known 100% accurate. | |
