i heard stainless lines are super hard to bend. most have just been hitting the normal steel line with wax and a high speed buffer to get really nice finishes.

Got the rear all buttoned up, drained the rad and removed the core support. Time to pull motor soon and get it all cleaned up, then install the new front end set up.

Pulled the motor and trans, tore down the motor so I can re seal all the damn oil leaks. Ordered all the gaskets and took a bunch of the parts off the motor and cleaned the grease off.

Little bit of progress this weekend, started my "sfbd" (stock floor body drop). I knew from the truck forum I frequent that this is not a fun project but in order to lay pinch it's what you gotta do. The problem is the frame is lower than the rocker, so you weld in some 2x4 steel tubing and hack it off. The first scary part is the front cab mounts are riveted to the frame, well you have to grind the rivets smooth inside the frame to get the tubing to fit in the rail right. so you have to weld the mounts to the frame. Then you have to weld it in and cut the bottom off which sucks laying on your back, then you have to weld the cut bottom frame to the 2x4 which really sucked. Anyway I wrote all this description cuz I only took a couple pics after I was done but in one of the pics you can see the other frame rail that is still stock so you get the idea.

Thanks man, they are nice. Everything is hand built and welded to order from this place, they make some bad ass stuff.

This is what you have to do if you want to be low. Welded in notches to make room for the tie rods when layed out.
