I havent really messed with it too much yet but yesterday I fired it up and pulled it out of the garage, I was snooping around inside the cab and found some switches, it's got some strobes in the parking lights and some stupid under body lights!!! Lol, I was dying laughing all by myself. It's like a time capsule, circa 1995.

Well I got the garage some what sorted in prep for the massive mess I'm gonna end up making here real soon. Also bought about $110 worth of necessary goods to make this little beast operational.

I got the wire ran from the panel into the garage, just gotta mount the recep in the garage and install the breaker tomorrow. Luckily there is some gas left in the cylinder but I dont think much, which sucks cuz its $115 to exchange that giant sob. Now I need to quit being a bitch and go buy a chop saw to cut the 2x4x3/16 steel tube for the c notch.

Nice link, thanks. Now I'm looking into chop saws and that is quickly spiraling out of control. It started with, I need a chop saw to cut this 2x4 steel, a $100 one will do. then went to, well I might as well buy a decent one that will last. To now it's, Well for just a bit more money I can get a bad ass cold saw that will cut the stuff with ease and make precision clean cuts. Damn this tool sickness!!!!

It's a cold saw with a carbide tipped blade so it cuts thick metal with ease, leaves a perfect edge with no dressing of the cut necessary and is cold to the touch when done. Not to mention it has a chip collection tray that collects 90% of the waste produced, can you say bawlin?? Can't wait to use this bad boy!!

It's hard when your garage is barely big enough for two vehicles and all of my junk, no room to get good shots. plus I'm lazy as shit after work. I'll get some soon, I'll be calling on some help to lift off the bed soon anyway, lol. you can see it in person.

I got the bed off today

got the notch fabbed and tacked up, tomorrow I hope to get the notch installed and welded in. The new chop saw made quick work of the 2x4x.188 tubing. I'm pumped to be welding and fabbing again!!

Literally 30 seconds to make a cut, it's messy tho, chips fly everywhere. The cuts were perfect tho, 30* for all of them. It's wide at the bottom tho, gotta get creative with the grinder to make them work, the frame has an indent in it for shock clearance that I'll have to cut out. That's no big deal but I'm worried about the frame buckling when I do this cuz it will be very thin and weak until I weld it up. I just hope the bed goes back on right when I'm done, lol.
