| Picked up a 2005 WRX Sport Wagon in San Remo Red over the weekend. Stoked to be back in a Subaru!! Had the B5 Audi S4 for a few months and before that a White GC RS Sedan before that. Drives a lot like the RS but the turbo's quite an upgrade to that set-up. 51K on the odometer. Mods: - Perrin Divorced DP - Megan 3" Exhaust Here's some pics as she sits. I'll probably play a little big here and there but it will be awhile before I heavily modify the car. Can't wait for coilovers and a decent wheel/tire set-up! (Looks like a monster truck to me at stock height) Though I have few other priorities in front of modification. She's been burning a little oil as well so I'm thinking it might be time for a turbo as well...vf39?... | |

| This is awesome! Great color, cant wait to see what gets done!
As for turbo's, Id say vf43 or vf48. Vf39's have a tendency to have cracked wastgates.

| I'll keep that in mind. I don't have a lot of questions thus far but I'm certain I will run into things along the way! | |

I knew that was coming I plan to but it's going to be awhile...got some home renovation that needs to take place before I can play. Been burning a little oil since I changed brands of synthetic so we checked compression on all four cylinders today, changed the plugs while we were at it. Everything checked out great!! Thrilled to not have to invest in a new shortblock even though that likely means my turbo seals are shot...planned to replace it sooner or later so I'll tackle that next. Thinking vf39 and a 3" Uppipe should pair nicely. Picked up an SPT intake that should arrive any day now.

| Picked up some parts since my last post. Gonna get the engine where I want it and then I will be ready to move on to thee asthetic. -vf43 -STI TMIC -COBB 2" Uppipe -Walbro 255lp -1000cc Injectors -SPT Intake I'll probably do the TGV Deletes too and maybe a few other mods to tweak a lit HP... After an open source tune I sould be at about 300whp. Not really setting a goal other than a reasonably fast (Faster then my S4) and reliable set-up. | |

| you could have bought air bags and wheels instead of all that boobaru racekor junk. i understand maintenance is paramount, but c'mon. going fast and being jacked up on lame wheels is no fun!
sorry, i'm a ass&@*. i just love slammed wagons.

| You're all good. I'll get there man. It needed done so I upgraded instead of keeping things where they were at. I'm definitely planning to go with aesthetic mods as well, this just took priority for the moment. Works been picking up so I'm hoping in the next few months to be doing a sedan front end conversion, Legit coils and camber plates, and 18x9.5 et38 wheels.
The monster truck look is driving me crazy too man. Lol

| Had to switch my Uppipe to a Perrin today. The COBB had been backordered three different times and I'm sick of waiting on it. THM swapped it for the same price. Picked up a gasket kit from them as well. Considering a heat blanket for the turbo or heat shield. Gotta see what I can scrounge up at this point. I'm ready to move on to brakes asap, from there a drop. If someone has a blanket that will fit a vf43 lmk. Any suggestions are welcome too. Trying to avoid that number 3 piston being an issue in the future. I hate the idea of doing valve cover gaskets like oil changes... | |

| Been very busy on the car but still haven't gone low yet...replaced turbo, uppipe, etc. Lot of parts laying around waiting for these temps to die down a bit...parts now include:
-vf43 -Perrin 2" Uppipe -Perrin Turbo Inlet -Perrin Turbo Blanket -Modified WRX Injectors -Phenolic Spacers -STI Brembo's -JDM 2 Pot rears (w/ Kartboy Adaptors) -Hawk HPS pads -DBA Rotors -StopTech SS Brake Lines -Perrin Master Cylinder Brace -BC Racing BR Series Coilovers -Whiteline Roll Center Kit -Perrin F&R 25mm Sways -Perrin Front Strut Tie Bar -Kartboy endlinks -Perrin Stout Mounts -ATI Boost Gauge -ATI Valentine Radar Pod -Atuometer 52mm Bezel Pod -Rota G Force Wheels 18X8.5 et48 -NRG LW Lugs and locks Andonized Red -General G-Maz 225/40
Brakes are waiting for powdercoat. I want to finish all the engine mods before I lower it so it's not a pain to get underneath in the meantime...either way I doubt I'll be low enough for approval...I had planned to go lower with this one like the Audi but I'm looking to be a bit more in the middle of form and function...
