something a little different

well after a long search i finally found what i was looking for! its a 61 ford falcon. i was looking for a 60-61 because its the smallest and most round. perfer the 61 grill. plans are to do a restomod. blue with a silver metalic roof. keeping the strait 6for now if it runs. its a texas car so rust is to a min. planning on chpping 2 coils off front and lowering blocks in rear. she looks rough but is cleaner than alot ive seen!

Love ford falcons. My brother and my dad had 64's....nice.

from what i have read the 302 is the easiest. The 351 and larger are taller and doesent clear the hood of the round body (60-61 falcon) the 302 is only 50 lbs heaver than the 6 in it but sets further back so handlong is the same. These weigh about 2200 lbs so 302 will move it nicely. If not theres always turbos!

put a 2.3 turbo in it! I have a hood in my garage for one of these if you need an xtra!

2.3 turbo would be so solid. I actually considered putting one of those motors in my bimmer...lol

Id love to do 2.3 turbo if i could find a cheap donor car.

get it running and rock it like it is. screw a fast engine, just slam it on some baller wheels and it will be a fun cruiser.
