I have an auto cluster out of a 91 and most of a mpfi swap for an auto

I traded the c8's today for snowflakes and the exact amount I paid for the whole vehicle to begin with. This means I now own a free Honda civic.

Today was a little interesting and pretty productive.

We have a lot more plans but we wanted to get some updates rolling and make our presence known again.

Here is a before shot showing normal ride height.



First thing up was tear down and fixing the issue with the front brakes. The pedal needed a great amount of force and was pretty soft beforehand.

Here's what I found upon removing pads and rotors.



Pretty disgusting, but no worries I had warranties on the components.





This should give me adequate braking power for some time to come.

Then when suspension was torn apart we found some extra parts that were useless and thrown away accordingly.



Here's a comparison shot between stock top hats versus our patent pending RustyButTrusty top hats.



Here's a shot of them installed.



And if you're scratching your head wondering about clearance under the hood, there isn't any.



Nothing a hole saw can't fix though.



The exhaust would no longer fit under the body so we just removed it before the catalytic converter.



How does this make you feel in your pants?



The body is sitting on the tires and the control arms are sitting on the strut towers currently. We ran out of time and didn't get to cut things and room.



That's pretty much it for now. More to come until I get bored with this or it falls apart.
