| So back in September I bought a 2013 Focus ST. I had been thinking about a new GLI, a GTI, a CC, a used R32, a Z4 or waiting for the Fiesta ST to come out so I could use all my wheels from the other car on it. I was all over the place on what I wanted to get but had to stick to the Focus, mostly because I had been waiting for a car like this ever since I bought my other Focus back in 2006 and the fact that I enjoyed the other car so much, as slow as it was. I decided to get Tuxedo Black because I knew it wasn't going to be my daily so keeping it looking good wouldn't be too hard. I also went with the ST2 package, mostly for the Recaro seats but it has a few other nice features that come with it like MyFord Touch and a digital dual zone climate control. Anyways, here are a few pictures of it... I haven't done too much yet besides driving it, I went to H2Oi in September and then drove down to Georgia for work in November so I could hit the Tail of the Dragon while I was down there, which was awesome. I have managed to do a little bit to it so far though. -James Barone Racing rear motor mount -Force Engineering 3" catless downpipe -Force Engineering 3" exhaust (2 resonators, no muffler and 2 42 Draft Designs 4" single wall tips) -SCT tune from FSWerks -Regular Focus red third brake light (ST one is clear, stands out too much on the black car and looks ricer.) -K&N drop in filter John Whalen did an awesome job fabbing up the exhaust for me, and I am completely satisfied with it. The exhaust has zero drone and basically no rasp and is completely bearable inside the car, but when I step on the go pedal it does get pretty damn loud. But yeah I have some more plans for it, some are in the process now and some will have to wait for more stuff to become available. -18x9.5/10.5 wheels (ordered) -Lots of lows (that'll happen soon) -Intake -Catch can -Other 2 engine mounts Progress will be really slow once the wheels and suspension go on, but it should turn out quite nice. | |

| I got tracking numbers for my wheels today, the suspension parts will be ordered within the next few weeks and will be on before mid March hopefully. - 2ez4me wrote:

It should get good here soon. I'm losing patience so I'm going to start getting to work. - Chad G wrote:

I got the orange seats to be different, figured most people would go for either gray or blue for the seats. I have not seen another black/orange combo on another car in person or online except for the one my sales guy ordered with the same options in case he wanted one.

Thanks. Yeah, the paint has a lot of flake in it and looks awesome in the sun. My wheels will be here Wednesday so things are starting to move along in the stance department. Here is a closeup of the paint in the sun.

| Here is a shot from when I was at the Tail of the Dragon a few months ago.. And a screenshot of a picture taken by one of the photographers that sit on the side of the road all day. Here is the stock exhaust when I was out there getting my new one made. Again, John Whalen did an awesome job on the new exhaust. | |

I need to get my legit camera out and do one once it warms up, anything on a phone or gopro just blows out the mic and it sounds nothing like a car. - titzwhip wrote:

I almost chose white, but was losing interest in it because it is just a plain boring white, rather than the tri coat white that is found on the Titanium trim level. Once my wheels arrive I will be doing a test fit at stock height using Jake's adapters for his wheels for the Lincoln so I can get an idea of what I want to run for my adapters.

| Very nice, now get rid of that funny looking baby k03! Also did you up grade the, I think its the rear engine mount or tranny mount? I helped a buddy of mine out swapping his, it was pretty easy and noticeably different feel imo | |

| Yup, that was the first thing I did.
Wheels are in and test fit, looks like I'll need a small pull up front and I'll be good to go, rear I'll probably need a little more camber than what comes naturally and a small pull. I'm getting even more anxious now.

| Just ordered a short throw and some shifter base bushings. In the next day or 2 suspension will be ordered. | |

| I am going to be having a lot of deliveries over the next few weeks. About a month and then I'll have all my stuff together to get this going. | |

Part of my suspension will be here on Monday, but the other part won't be for 3-4 weeks. As soon as I find out when it will be here, time is being requested off work and I will be putting the stuff on.

| Put the short throw shifter and bracket in on Saturday, didn't get a chance to drive it but it seems like it will be a decent improvement.
I also got another part of my stuff in yesterday and received confirmation today for the rest of the suspension, still looking like 3-4 weeks until I have it all.

| I'm getting 2 of my tires mounted early tomorrow morning then working on getting things ready for the suspension install. Some of my parts are coming in quicker than I expected them to, looks like I need to get moving on this. | |
