| This wont be much of a project long, just more of the progress of what I’ve done so far, plus any small things I may end up doing before getting my next car. Most of this first post will be about the suspension and wheel/tire setups. Here is what I was dealing with when I got it in May 2006… Then I decided to go the route that everyone else did and get a Ford Racing suspension and the European Appearance Package wheels. Around that time I decided to color match the chrome ring around the grill. Then the first set of coilovers, H&R Street, set to full low in the rear (with adjusters) and set to match in the front. Winter setup, think I went a little lower here. After that some 17x7.5 Rota Attacks with 205/45s. Had those for a short while and then picked up some Sportmax wheels in 17x8 and swapped over the 205/45s. More lows on the winter setup, I think this one was with some skinnier tires, 185/55/16 on a 7.5. Moar lows on the summer setup. Then I got a lip. Lip with the summer setup. Summer setup roller. Got some Ksports, went lower again. Random picture with Ksports and 205/40s. Ksports and summer setup, sans lip and with the smaller 205/40s. Went to Tennessee on vacation, hit the Smokey Mountain National park and the Tail of the Dragon. Didn’t have the lip on, was probably a good thing. Encountered this going to the condo, wasn't there last year. I think this one was after day 2 or 3, was there for 6 days so it ended up being much worse. Was down there like this, Ksports on full low up front, some cut coilover springs in the rear. Even with stiffer sway bar and the stiff Ksports, still was looking like this through some turns. Went to the Carlisle All-Ford Nationals in Pennsylvania, had the lip on and got stuck on the showfield. Ask Blake about that one, was fun stuck in the grass in the rain digging myself deeper with the lip. Sometime prior to that I bought the Ronal Turbos from my friend who was looking to sell his car. I don’t think there is anything else I’m missing from my history. Some stuff is slightly out of order but most of it is there. I’ve been working on something to change up the wheels for next year, something I’ve been considering doing for a while now but I’ll be swapping between the Ronals and the Sportmax depending on how often I feel like scraping. The tires are 1” shorter on the Ronals than the Sportmax so that ½” height difference is huge in determining what I hit and what I don’t. | |

| For the interior I have some Roush leather seats, added bolsters over the stock seats. Plus they match the rest of the interior pretty good. Other than that for the exterior I've added an SVT spoiler, SVT mirrors with color matched caps, color matched SVT door handles. Other stuff done: Tune Intake Catback Lower engine mount Swaybar upgraded the stereo slightly over stock Roush pedal covers Should be it. | |

| I should be around a little this summer. My list of shows to go to is a little different and should allow me to make it to the west side a few times. | |

| The only thing I don't like about the Ronals is that they are 15s, which look small on a Focus. These seem to not look as tiny compared to other 15s. | |

| Should also include this... I know its against all of our beliefs, but I raised the car up for winter, put the FRPP suspension back on. This is still just over 1.5" lower than stock, believe it or not. I just did not want to have to deal with the snow this year, made it fine last year, it just sucked dealing with it every day. I also had to install a set of these adjustable toe arms after finding out that the bolts in my control arms are seized and it can't be properly aligned. The +0.35* toe out was a bit much for me so I put them on, feels much better now with the toe adjusted in a little bit, going for an alignment on Monday. And here is one of my car next to another stock one while on my 17s (.5" higher than on the Ronals)

| Yeah I know, I hate walking out to my car now. Oh well, the coilovers will probably go back on earlier in spring than normal, making a trip out to the NE for New England Dustoff in April and can't go out there sittin' high. | |

| The Focus is the beater. I plan on getting something else hopefully by this time next year, otherwise I'd be doing more to this. | |

| If I can wait until later in the year next year, a Fiesta St. If not then yes, definitely something German.
Or I'll just buy something else to daily and go nuts with the Focus. | |
