what compounds are you using for polishing?

Some emery, tripoli and white rouge with various wheels, then hand polishing with some White Diamond metal polish. But that's after some sanding to get rid of the machining marks and going up to 1500. I've spent way too much time on them so far, still have 2 remaining.

WOW...did work. They look really really good with a tire on them. Cant wait to see them tucking under well.

Yeah I can't either. I'll probably run the 17s for daily wheels and swap on the "new" ones for when I head out to Euro Hangar and any other shows since the fitment should be better.

Oh I know. Also Chad, do you know if you work the Saturday before the Sunday April 29th meet? Rob needs a drive-on alignment rack, and apparently there aren't any over there, and he was wondering if he could have it aligned the Saturday before that meet.

get your fenders and camber set up. i'll set the toe dead on. we got hunters top of the line hawkeye system. its sooo nice!

Yeah that's what I still have left to do. I'm trying to find a good way to get the camber set evenly on both sides in the rear.

i can do it on the rack if you want. just make sure the camber adjustment mechanism is not siezed. details will be discussed via pm.

The wheels are "done". I still need to go back over them in some of the harder to reach areas and stuff, but they'll do for daily wheels.

Fitment on the new wheels. These aren't the polished ones but the fitment on these will make me want to run them all the time.



I took the spring out and dropped the car down to ride height, looks like everything will barely clear without spacers. I might run a 3mm spacer to keep from hitting the shock and the emergency brake cable.
