I agree, hoping that 225/40 will give me enough clearance...I hear Falkens stretch well. Apparently the mod bug is getting to me...must be the break in the weather. Picked up Caliper paint, going charcoal. And an M3 lip spoiler form ecstuning, going to have to get some OEM matched paint from NAPA this week too...picked up an oil filter from Audi today too, going to grab some synthetic on Thrusday...sounds like a busy weekend, think I'm going to paint my emblems and grill while I'm toying with it...

| nice! falkens 512's will stretch well.
dont stress the fitment too much. you can add small spacers for clearance if needed, and s4's should have factory camber adjustment to pull camber to tuck tire.

| I'd like a straight forward alignment to keep from camber wear. I'll pull more to have this where I need it if I go this route. Holding off on wheels for a few weeks, hopin I can get a deal together at work before I go ahead on these, just to keep things comfortable...
I was thinking Falken 452's but I need someone to buy the ones I already have to make that leap. Keep them in mind if you hear of anyone. 235/40R18's for 425OBO...

| Still working on finishing up my audio upgrade. I've got my Alpine IVA-W505 Headunit installed. Had a buddy make me some custom baffles to accomidate 6.5" Focal Utopia 2 Way Components I'll be running in the front. Picking up some Alcantara Suede to wrap these in so they match the seats/interior. Still running an amp in the trunk on the underside of the deck lid and applying some dynamat to the inside of the driver and passenger door skins. I'll likely put some under the deck lid as well, just to alleviate having to tear back into it again once I'm on to a sub enclosure. | |

| ^^ Appreciate that! I considered reposting in the project log section but didn't want to have to transfer everything over tonight. - nightestkiduknow wrote:

Thanks! I'm excited to have it hooked up. I've started a few projects lately without finishing the prior so I'm trying to wrap the audio up first. Think I'll eventually have a JL 10" or 12" sub in the rear as well. It will likely be some more custom work, but I'm thinking something like this... Brakes are the next one. I've had caliper paint, StopTech Rotors and Hawk HPS pads waiting to go on for almost a month. Waiting for a warm day and the time... I'll likely pick up some wheels within the next two weeks as well so I'd like to have a majority of this buttoned up before April but I'll have to see what I get to. I'll still need wheel spacers and extended lug bolts all around. Hopefully by that point I can leave the cosmetics alone for awhile and start picking up additions to make it faster.

| Mod bug got me again yesterday. Found a good deal on some BBS wheels and decided to grab them for the time being. They are RXII's, think I'm going to put the Falken 452's I have in the FS section on this week or next. Here's a pic: | |

| Thanks man! I'll have to put in a little work to make them what I want but they're in good condition. I figure I can always get my money back out of them or trade them as well, should I decide to change things up.

| 18X8.5 et32. Not nearly as aggressive as I planned on going but I'll be watching that set-up with the next set-up. | |

| well that quite a downgrade idea... but if you save some cash in the deal than i will find it very acceptable. try getting that nice quality german interior or sexy exhaust note out of a boobaru. not gunna happen. your stuck with boring cloth, or cheap sti plastic suede. and not to mention the loud harley davidson-ish BBBBB noise. | |

| I don't disagree. I'm just more comfortable working on them so I'm exploring some options. I had Legacy Limited WRX leather seats in my 01 RS. They were actually pretty nice. I like the Audi Recaros better but they're a lot cheaper to fix, more efficient and just as fast.
Not sold on this direction. I'm still watching for an A4 Sport Line but I'm getting more responses from the Scooby crowd.

| I enjoyed it while it lasted. The costs didn't bother me as much as the PITA everything seemed to turn into. I was looking to upgrade, not just keep up...
