So the new car is being held up for a couple weeks. Apparently the current owner only used it for track use, so he never titled it in his name. The car is titled in NJ and i wanted him to get it put in his name before i bought it. So he went in to get a instant title, but you can only get instant titles for MI cars. The car will be delivered when the new title comes in the mail to the current owner.

I pulled the ecu out of the del sol today. I found this bag of goodies in the glove box.



Apparently this car was VERY well maintained at b.c. honda.

i've got records up my ass on engine work. Valve adjustments every 30k. Timing belt , water pump and tune up every 50k (so its on its 3rd timing belt). and oil changes EVERY 3k up until 115k. p/s pump at 80k. steering rack at 100k. 4 brake jobs. TONS of other little repair orders. They were meticulus, There is MULTIPLE r.o.'s about a leaking targa top lol. it got replaced at 50k with a brand new oem unit lol. The car has 130k now, and has an aftermarket oil filter so either the car changed owners or they got cheap after 115k.

Either way, i dug into the engine a bit tonight. I pulled the p/s and alt. I tried to get the crank bolt off to do the t-belt again, but I need more power or a bigger impact.

i pulled the vc and the top end looks mint. I'll bring my feeler home and adjust the valves before it gets dropped in. Also planning on doing all the belts, water pump, vtec solenoid seal, thermostat and do a honda mtf drain and fill.





I started cleaning with a wire brush. Then i decided to unclip some of the harness to easier access the block/trans.



Then i decided i should just remove the entire harness.



Since its removed, i might as well start the wire tuck.

Jesus, dont see that kind of record keeping everyday. Sucks the car is all smashed up. Someone thats good with body work will scoop that up and have an awsome shell
