| I figured i'd update this since you guys dug it out from the dead. Installed a drivers side motor mount spacer yesterday. Its hard to tell in the pics, but all it is is a 1" block of nylon gene grabbed from alro. Drilled holes and notched it to fit. The best motor mount spacers are the ones that cost the least. I'm also still working on interior bits. The armrest is giving me a fight at the moment, havent been able to get the fabric to adhere good enough to last.\\ The car is about done, just waiting for summer to come to daily it and have some fun. No more plans for it except maintain it, fix rubbing and maybe up the boost a bit. i'm on the hunt for a new project for the spring... | |

| Thats why i said maybe. I just hate how it spikes to 10lbs and drops to 7, but it also keeps the gas milage in check i suppose. I'd love it to hold a steady 15 psi to redline to make it a little less slow. Its no racekor. Just a proper budget built daily. I really dont have much into it. | |

| I'll take it out this week and see how bad the axel binds with the spacer. If its considerably better, it'll go lower and i'll throw some insurance on it so i can drive it when i come back from vacation. | |

| so i got i legal on friday and i've already burned a tank of gas. I shifted the engine to the passenger side about a 1/4 inch and it helped the binding a bit. it only binds on turns now. my axel is slamming the shit out of my passenger frame rail, so a notch is in the future.
i'm considering just getting a larger tire up front so its not so slammed out. my girl hates riding in it from all the rubbing/slamming axel/bind. we'll see whats up.
finished up my houndstooth interior today, i'm waiting for it to dry and then i'll install it. i need to re-do the p.o's boost gauge setup, install a new alternator, install the hybrid oil pan, mod my axel, then i'll be all set for dd status.
sorry no pics this time. i'll get some soon! | |

| you were not low enough. i have less than a 1/8th inch from my axel to the frame on the passenger side. any decent bump or dip in the road and it hits.
